My Artist’s Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for blessing me with so many creative talents and passions. I love to write, to sing, to dance, and to co-create with You in each moment. My whole life is an art for and I am so grateful for its beauty.

I pray for the courage to live the artist’s path fearlessly and boldly every day. May I fully engage my immense creative power for the highest good of all, taking full responsibility for this power and using it well.

Please deliver me from the temptations that arise that would rather I give my power away to other people and to distractions. Dear God, please give me the strength to walk this artist’s path with impeccable integrity and with grace, wisdom, and humility.

I pray for the clarity to navigate this path in the best way possible, and for receptivity to the flowing abundance that nourishes me in exchange for the creative output that I share with the world.

May I always be aware of my role as an artist, as that of a channel. May I remember that all the beautiful creative expressions come through me, from You.

Please allow me to dance this life with a pure, open, loving heart and a giving Spirit of service. May I know and embody balance, centeredness, groundedness, strength, wisdom, courage, and grace. May I know myself deeply and stand tall & strong on the foundation of my True Self. And may I create from this place of infinite potential, boundless possibility, pure silence, and absolute Truth.

May I embody and express only the highest, the deepest, the purest, and the truest. May I radiate your light and your love in this eternal blessed moment. May I breathe deeply and remember who I truly am as I dance through life with joy in my heart and bliss infusing every cell of my being.

Thank You, I Love You.

Thank You, I Love You.

Thank You, I Love You.

The Grace of God

Dear God,

I Love You.

My heart is so full of emotion, it feels achy and sometimes it feels so full, like it could explode. I realize that my sensitivity & my deep emotions are a blessing from You. And I recognize how amazingly blessed I am, in so many ways.

Please fill me with your grace, so that I may "step it up" a level, or a few levels, or a quantum leap, so that I may be the most fully capable I can be to do the work You sent me here to do.

My energy levels sky rocket & plunge, an emotional roller coaster ride that feels less than optimal. Please help me to level it out.

Please help me to be grounded & centered in my Self, empowered, graceful, gracious, and joyful.

Please let me be strong & courageous, feeling my emotions fully & deeply, trusting myself and You, and making good choices every step of the way.

Please help me to release my illusion of control & fully surrender to You.

Thank You, I Love You.
Thank You, I Love You.
Thank You, I Love You.

Amen.

Prayer for a New Beginning

Today I solemnly reflect upon the current state of the world.

Tomorrow is the beginning of a new chapter, as we inaugurate a new president of the United States of America.

This country has potential, definitely. And I am cautiously hopeful that Barack Obama will implement many beautiful, positive changes in our current political system.

Dear God, may Barack Obama be filled with Your Love and Your Grace. May he stand strong in his power and his integrity, unwavering despite the many people who will tempt him to stray from his principles. Please guide him and show him creative solutions to mend and rebalance our corrupt system and chaotic world. And please give him the strength and courage to do all that You will have him do.

Thy will be done.

Thank You, I Love You.
Thank You, I Love You.
Thank You, I Love You.

Amen.

Travel Prayer

Thank you God for all of my wonderful travel experiences. I am so blessed to have experienced so much at such a young age.

Please God, I want to continue traveling. If it's in accordance with your divine plan, please send the support of Nature to make this possible. There's absolutely no reason to feel anxious in any way because I know that You always have my Highest Good in mind and I know that I will be guided by You in each moment, with every breath. Thank You, Amen.

Love,
Erin

The Mind of God

Time is definitely...flexible, liquid, shape-shifting, malleable, elusive, and it's all created by our perception, so it's anything but absolute.

We experience it linearly, but I think that everything is actually sort of happening at the same time, and in a big circle, or maybe a spiral.

We live in this moment, and time appears as a smooth, uninterrupted progression of these moments. The ones that we remember as having already happened, we label as "the past" and the ones that we imagine will happen we label as "the future."

I remember when I was young, my mom and I were in the kitchen. She was sitting at the table, and I was standing across the room. I remember is so very clearly. I was telling her about what I was learning in school about praying for our deceased ancestors and loved ones. My mom said that we should pray for them because we can help them get to heaven, but I pointed out that if God is omniscient, then He must know all of the prayers that we are ever going to pray, so we can actually pray for them while they were still alive, even though they are now dead. My mom said she had never thought about it quite like that.

I liked the way this concept was sort of mystical and mysterious, and I liked the way it made my brain feel, like maybe more was possible than I had previously imagined, like things here a little more flexible and magical than they appeared at first glance.

Back then, the Mind of God was something that I considered inaccessible and very far away. Now I consider the Mind of God to be my infinite potential, which I am always moving toward, in a very intimate way, because it is actually my birthright.

Prayer

Today I finished reading "The Gift of Change" by Marianne Williamson, and I am grateful to her for reminding me of the importance of asking for divine guidance and grace. This is different than what I have been practicing for the past few years, which has been more of an intention-setting practice. And this practice has been far from regular. A list of new moon intentions here and there, but nothing consistent. And we all know that consistency is the key.

I have had a sneaking suspicion for quite some time that it was not quite so simple as to think that I could just list what I want on a piece of paper, and expect to receive it. Even if this list was accompanied by visualizations and strong emotions. Because how could I expect (with my limited view, as opposed to the omniscience of God) to know what was best for me? Who am I to think I know what I need? Is it really in my by best interest to "manifest" one million dollars by the end of the month? Or would it just spoil me and keep me from doing some higher work that I have been born here on Earth to do?

I
don't know. Or purport to know. However, God does. And so it seems like it might be more beneficial to ask God to give me the courage, strength, clarity, and wisdom that I need to navigate through life in the best way possible, for the Highest Good of all.

I intend from this day forward that I am in constant communication with God. No more calling on the Divine only in challenging times, when I am desperate need of help. From now on, I keep my mind on God as much as I possibly can. I remember that I am God's child and nothing that I do can change that.

I take responsibility for my mistakes, I ask for forgiveness, and I receive it. When I find myself in a state of judgment, I ask God to help me forgive myself, and anyone else who I am judging.

I bring the Love of God everywhere I go, and in doing so, I bless all things.

I kneel and kiss the ground daily.

I give thanks for my unending list of blessings. I pay more attention to the things that I have previously taken for granted, and I feel profound gratitude for it all.

I pray to be a flowing channel of God's grace, constantly remembering that the glory is God's.

May I be used in service to the Highest Good, to God's divine plan. May I surrender to this higher purpose, and be guided to the work that I am here to do.

I am open, I am ready. God, please show me the way.
