The Sweetest Thing

A few weeks ago, my dad and I were discussing the depressing state of the world, as we tend to do (for whatever reason) when we get together.

And I said, "And that is why I'm not having children." He immediately responded, "And that's too bad. You're going to miss out on a lot of joy."

My eyes welled up with tears of gratitude. What an incredible blessing to be the daughter of this incredible, sweet man.
